Primark's new cashmere midi dress wowing customers with ‘simple and stylish’ look

As we enter into a new year, this could not be more timely than the introduction of some of fashion’s newest trends to look fabulous all throughout 2022.

Popular budget retailer, Primark, has released its latest pieces from The Primark Edit collections and fans are utterly ecstatic.

One item in particular has gotten customers flocking to Primark’s Instagram page and raving about how it is a must-have for January.

Primark posted a photo of their camel knit midi dress that also is made with cashmere for extra warmth.

Priced at £25, the dress has been creating traction online as fans cannot get enough of the sleek monochromatic look that is fitted for the season.

With 12,602 likes and counting, the comments’ section has been scattered non-stop with users submitting their views on the dress.

One user wrote, “I have a chocolate brown ribbed buttoned down dress of yours, lovely heavy fabric and slimming! Love it” alongside purple-coloured heart emojis.

A second user wrote, “So simple and stylish!”

A third user wrote, “Really lovely and nice colour” alongside red-coloured heart emojis.

A fourth user commented, “With my Primark tan boots… I love it!”

Some felt the picture of the model posing with the dress didn’t capture the item fully, as some commenters felt it was too cropped.

One user commented, “Would look fab in black but can you show the complete dress?”

A second user commented, “Need a full view” alongside a side-eye emoji.

However despite the dress garnering approval, there were comments also criticising Primark for potentially using unethical methods of production in creating the knitted dress.

One user commented, “Is the cashmere humanely produced?” to which another commenter wrote back simply with a “No”.

Another user commented, “Many goats die of cold stress because of having been shorn in the winter. Additionally, goats that aren't producing wool of a certain quality are often sold for the meat industry… Well done Primark for your contribution to animal cruelty.”
