Primark's new £10 shoes look 'exactly the same' as YSL's £480 version

When it comes to Primark, there are many reasons it's one of the nation's most popular stores.

It's a treasure trove of wonderful wares - including clothing, footwear and homeware. Whether you're looking for a fancy new duvet cover, some new clothes for the kids or a bumper pack of socks, Primark delivers - and at bargain prices.

Primark is also ahead of the game when it comes to designer dupes, and can often save shoppers hundreds of pounds when they can't afford the original.

The high-street fashion retailer's latest designer dupe is no exception, and is already cooking up a storm on social media.

At the weekend, one Primark shoppers was quick to share to Twitter that she had spotted a pair of shoes at Primark which she claims are "the exact same shoe" as a pair by designer brand YSL, reports the Liverpool ECHO.

One of the main differences, however, is price. Primark's version is £10 whilst YSL's will set you back around £480.

Both pairs of shoes are black heeled sandals with a simple black ankle strap. As Primark doesn't have a website customers can order from, if you want some you'll have to head to your nearest store.

If you do fancy a browse, make sure you remember your face mask, as Primark is asking all shoppers to wear one in line with new Government rules.

When we asked Primark to explain the rules in place, the brand told Manchester Evening News : "Primark takes the health and safety of our employees and customers very seriously.

"We are closely following all the government’s guidelines, updating our policies to reflect any changes in guidance, including the use of face masks/ coverings in our stores."
