These days beauty treatments don't have to cost the earth. There are plenty of bank balance options out there - but you need to know how to find them.
High street giant Primark has finally reopened its doors, much to the joy of shoppers looking for a bargain this summer.
Lots of people know that they offer homewares and beauty bits - including makeup options for those that can't afford the big brands.
But what people don't realise is that some stores have an in-store beauty bar service - meaning shoppers can enjoy bargain beauty treatments alongside the normal shopping experience.
The Manchester Evening News highlighted the little-known service - which includes facials, eyelash extensions, blow drys and brow treatments.
As we head towards summer, customers can book a time to get glam for a night out with friends or family.
Primark Beauty Studio prices range from £30 for a party-worthy makeover and £55 for Russian lash extensions.
It’s just £8 for a brow tint, £24 for an express gel manicure and £25 for a 30-minute exfoliating facial.
The following stores have beauty bars:
- London Oxford Street
- London Hammersmith
- Nottingham
- Leeds
- Norwich
- Cardiff
- Bromley
- Milton Keynes
- Birmingham
- Manchester Market Street
- Manchester Trafford Centre
You can pre-book appointments on the Primark website here - and it's advised to do so.
Do you need to pre-book an appointment for the Beauty Studios?
Primark says: "Customers with pre-booked appointments can enter the Beauty Studio when they arrive, however we would ask that only the person booked for the treatment arrives for their appointment. Walk-in appointments will be on offer during opening hours dependent on Beauty Studio capacity.
"Enquiries for walk-in appointments can be made at the Beauty Studio front desk. Our customer waiting area is not in use to maintain social distancing measures."
What measures have Primark Beauty Studios implemented for customer safety?
According to the high street giant, measures include:
- Treatment tables have been reconfigured to adhere to social distancing guidelines and Perspex screens have been installed.
- All beauty technicians will wear face masks, visors and gloves, which will be changed after each appointment.
- Each treatment area will be sanitised after every appointment.
- All customers must wear a face mask during beauty treatments, in line with government guidelines.
- Hand sanitiser will be made available at the entrance of Beauty Studios
- Clear signage and floor decals have been installed to guide customers in a way that limits contact with others
- We are encouraging card payments and contactless when possible to minimise cash interactions
