Primark's Harry Potter Christmas advent calendar is Hogwarts themed and in the shape of a castle

Harry Potter fans have gone potty after Primark announced a Hogwarts-themed advent calendar for Christmas.

Luckily for fans in Glasgow, the advent calendar will be available from the Sauchiehall street branch.

The calendar will be available to buy for £16 from a number of branches across the UK, including Aberdeen and Edinburgh as well as the Glasgow branch.

The calendar has a wooden look, with doors painted in the house colours of Slytherin, Griffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

Potter fans will be able to fill each of the 24 doors with “all kinds of treats” for the run up to Christmas.

The exact release date of the calendar is yet to be revealed, but Primark bosses say it will be in time for the Christmas countdown.
