Primark's 'amazing' £38 coat is the 'perfect dupe' for £290 North Face jacket, say shoppers

With temperatures below freezing and more snow forecast for the UK, shoppers are rushing to Primark to get their hands on a £38 coat which is pretty much identical to a popular £290 North Face version, minus the logo.

North Face jackets are hugely popular with both fashion fans and those looking for a practical coat that will keep them warm and fight off the cold. However, North Face jackets usually come with a high price tag, and you'll end up paying hundreds of pounds if you want one of the thicker puffer styles.

But shoppers have been blown away by a Primark dupe of the North Face teddy puffer, which costs £252 less. The Primark jacket features teddy fabric on the body and arms, with waterproof material on the chest and shoulders. It is two-tone in beige and cream.

The North Face version is pretty much identical, with similar design, material and a colour scheme of the same neutral tones, says the ECHO. The Primark jacket is already going viral, and has been shared on social media countless times.

@jessicahamilton posted a video to TikTok showing herself trying on her new coat from Primark for the first time. In the video, Jessica said: “I have got the most perfect North Face Jacket dupe that I wanted to quickly show you. Oh my god look at it."

“This one is £38, it is an insulated jacket, very warm and very cosy. Oh god I’m obsessed, I absolutely love it… Stop what you're doing, run to Primark and grab one of these.”

One happy TikToker commented: “[running emoji] me omw to Primark, omg you always pull”. While another said: “through with the best finds”.

A third added: “COSY COSY COSY”. Another said: “I love it, loveee”. While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them.
