Budget retailer Primark is selling a new bag which looks very similar to ones sold by a designer brand - but for around £1,140 cheaper.
Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a metallic silver bag which is very similar to one sold by fashion brand Balenciaga, which is priced at £1,150 online.
TikTok user @primarkxo shared a video showing off Primark’s silver handbag. The post was captioned: "Balenciaga dupe in primark.”

The bag features a similar design to Balenciaga’s La Cagole Mini Bag. The bargain retailer's bag is similar in colour, shape and also has a metallic-effect design.
Primark’s bag is priced at £9, while Balenciaga’s version would set shoppers back £1,150. This means shoppers could save around £1,140 by opting for the dupe.
While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. The £9 bag is in stores now. You can find the Balenciaga version here.
