Primark releases nostalgic 80s range and shoppers say it 'brings back their childhood'

One Primark shopper spotted a new range of products featuring characters popular in the 1980s, and was quick to share the news online.

The bargain giant is currently selling Care Bears goods such as mugs, enamel pins, and stationery.

Care Bears were originally used on greeting cards in 1983, before being given their own animated series which was broadcast across the world from 1985 to 1988.

Many children who grew up in the 80s will remember the children's television show, including the customer who spotted the products in their local Primark.

Taking to Facebook, they wrote: "Care Bears Range Spotted At Primark!"

Since being shared, the post has received more than 2,400 likes and over 3,400 comments from Primark and Care Bears fans.

One stated: "OMG! I want it all!"

"Omg I loved Care Bears when I was wee," a second revealed.

"Omg how cool, so brings back my childhood," shared a third.

A fourth echoed: "Awww takes me back my childhood."

"Brings back memories," agreed a fifth.

The range includes various products (Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK)

A sixth commented: "Aww old school memories".

"My daughter is 39 she loved care bears," a seventh wrote.

Another simply said: "80s revamp".

"Memory unlocked," joked a ninth.
