Primark are looking to extend their opening hours to 24 hours a day this winter, bosses have confirmed.
Associated British Foods Plc, the people who own Primark, hope that this may help 'separate' shoppers more easily in the lead-up to what is normally a busy Christmas period.

A spokeswoman for Primark told Glasgow Live: "ABF are calling for extended trading hours for Primark stores once they re-open in December."
Chief Executive George Weston said in a statement to the news outlet: "If we are able to trade in some stores up to 24 hours a day, then we can keep people more separate from each other more easily.
"We can keep the stores safer if everyone knows there are plenty trading hours and they do not have to rush on a Sunday into a six-hour period."
Mr Weston said: "It will give customers the confidence that there will be time for them to do their Christmas shopping on the high street between Dec 2 - I hope - and the 24th.
"And it will allow my business to sell a lot of its Christmas stock. I think it would be a great step forward for the high street to be allowed extend opening hours."
Primark stores in Glasgow city centre are on Sauchiehall street and Argyle Street, and other outlets can be found in shopping centres dotted about the city.
The stores are gearing up for the Christmas period, which are normally busy - this year expected to be more so with social distancing measures reducing store capacity of shoppers.
In March's lockdown, the company opted not to introduce an online shop, with no news to suggest otherwise still.
