Primark Northern Ireland store to open for 33 hours continuously after restrictions end

Primark lovers in Northern Ireland can shop to their heart's content as one store is planning extended opening hours after current Covid-19 restrictions here end.

With all non-essential retail stores shut until December 11, Primark's store in the Abbeycentre, Newtownabbey, says it will open for 33 hours continuously to give shoppers more time to pick up their Christmas Primark essentials.

Announcing the news on their social media, a spokesperson for Abbeycentre said: "Come as you are...Whether your go-to is off-duty style, fancy festive wear or PJ chic, we're here for you.

"Primark, Abbeycentre will open Friday 11th December 9am and STAY OPEN all the way through until 6pm Saturday 12th December.

"33 HOURS OF PRIMARK! (Yes, you can visit at 3am!!!) We have extended our opening hours to help you shop safely. Please continue to follow our safety measures in store."

When current lockdown restrictions ended in England this week, 11 of Primark's English stores opened for 24 hours in order to give customers more time to do their festive shopping.
