Primark announces when it's opening its stores in Wales

Primark has announced the date that all stores in Wales will re-open.

A statement from the high street company said that following the recent Government announcement, they will be pleased to welcome customers back to Primark stores across Wales on Friday, June 26.

They added there would be extensive measures in place to help safeguard employees and customers.

Primark was one of the few stores that didn't open when non-essential stores were given the green light to reopen on Monday.

Primark CEO, Paul Marchant, said: " We have really missed our customers in Wales, and we are delighted to be back open, providing customers with the quality, affordable products they love from Primark.

How the stores will look:

"While it might take a little longer to get into store, once inside, customers will find all their favourite Primark products and plenty of choice as usual. We have worked hard to make sure that clear signage and extra help will be there to guide them through the changes we have made to allow for social distancing.

“We are also asking customers to respect the measures we have put in place to help ensure shopping at Primark is an enjoyable, safe experience for everyone.”

There will be no sales or special offers when the doors re-open.

When stores in England opened last week there massive queues outside Primark stores, but the re-opening of the high street in Wales on Monday was steady.
