Primark £14 pyjamas wow fans and more than 150,000 people are rushing out to buy them

Thousand of shoppers have been descending on Primark stores across England and Wales since non-essential shops reopened last month.

Huge queues were seen at the entrances to stores run by the high street retailer across the country on April 12 - and the scenes in Bristol were no different.

After months of customers calling for the chain to offer online services when stores were shut up amid the coronavirus pandemic, thousands are desperate to update their wardrobes and snap up a bargain,

There is one particular item which seems to have won the crown when it comes to the most wanted product of the moment - as it's being eyed up by over 151,000 shoppers, Manchester Evening News reports.

Primark is selling nostalgic Looney Tunes pyjama sets at £14 each featuring Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird.

Posting on Instagram, Primark wrote: "Movie night with this iconic duo. LooneyTunes PJ Sets £14 each."

The PJs became an instant viral hit - and the post has now racked up a whopping 151,000 likes, and over 4,000 comments.

"OMG THIS IS SO CUTE!!!!!" exclaimed one excitable shopper.

"I want!!!" shouted somebody else.

Another excited shopper said: " I need these in my life."

The sets are available to buy inside Primark stores now.
