Primark £10 bag that's almost identical to £2,100 designer version

Primark is selling a handbag for just £10 which bears a striking resemblance to a designer bag which costs £2,100.

Shoppers looking for a Christmas bargain will love this lookalike bag that the retailer shared on its Instagram account.

The ruffle handled bag comes in two colours, beige and black with a zipped compartment and have received a lot of love on social media.

The post gained more than 17,500 likes and 165 comments.

But what you might not have realised is that at £10, these Primark handbags are an amazing deal when compared to a similar Bottega Veneta Shoulder Pouch bag priced at 210 times the price.

The £2,100 shoulder bag is made from Nappa Calf leather has a single compartment lined in shiny calf and comes in a total of 13 different colours.

However, shoppers are loving the Primark version.

One shopper said: "Can I have both?" while another said: "Love this bag! Too many temptations!!!"

Another wrote: "Omg you don't even realise how much I need the black one!" while another user said: "These bags are lovely."

One shopper recalled having something similar when she was young: "Remember these being in fashion when we was like 14."

And another said: "At this point I literally have a mini Primark store in my closet please give my bank account a break."
