Pride of Britain Awards 2022: Holly Willoughby and Molly-Mae lead glamour on red carpet

The Pride of Britain Awards has returned for yet another year to celebrate the nation's everyday heroes and their bravery - and some of the biggest stars in the UK have descended on the red carpet, showing off some of their most show-stopping looks to date.

The annual awards, which have taken place since 1999 in association with The Prince’s Trust, is considered one of the most heartwarming and emotional nights of the year, and over 150 of the biggest names in showbiz have gathered to celebrate the brave hero's of 2022.

Every year, several well-known faces from celebrities, politicians and sports icons come together to celebrate the bravery and selflessness of the winners.

Among the first to grace the red carpet this evening was This Morning presenter, Holly Willoughby who made sure she turned heads in a jaw-dropping one-shouldered, bow-detailed gown as she joined the likes of Emily Atack and Molly-Mae Hague.

Holly's 2022 Pride of Britain look is undoubtedly her most glamorous one yet as her pink floral gown also featured shimmering details and a luxurious tulle underskirt.

The 41-year-old TV star oozed elegance as she styled her blonde locks in a classy and chic ponytail while she allowed her glamorous makeup to do the talking.

Holly was joined on the red carpet by her This Morning co-host, Phillip Schofield, as the pair giggled and chatted among themselves before posing for pictures.

Actress Emily Atack stole the show in a figure-hugging black gown as she beamed on the red carpet while modelling the dramatic number.

The former Inbetweeners star, 32, oozed class and elegance in the high-neck gown which did wonders to accentuate her gorgeous curves.

Emily opted for a messy up-do and a glamorous bronzed makeup look for the prestigious ceremony this year.

Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo have returned to co-host the star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House.

Carol, who has hosted the event for 23 years since 1999, turned up to the red carpet looking sensational in a show-stopping red gown.

The former Countdown star ensured that all eyes were on her as she posed for the cameras in the eye-catching floor-length number which did wonders to hug her gorgeous figure.

The host opted for a bouncy hairstyle with vintage curls and a smokey-eye to top off the glam look.

Ahead of her red carpet debut tonight, Carol said: "We’ll have 12 incredible winners again this year, but it's difficult for the judging panel because we have thousands of nominations and everyone on the shortlist could easily win.

"We try to reflect what’s happened in Britain in the last year, so you’ll recognise people who have been in the news, but we aim to balance that with stories nobody has heard before. It’s a magical combination."

Love Island beauty Molly-Mae debuted her blossoming baby bump as she arrived on the red carpet in a dazzling off-the-shoulder white gown.

The expectant mum, 23, who is set to welcome her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury, appeared in high spirits as she posed for cameras with a huge grin on her face while cradling her growing bump.

Molly-Mae proved that she's a style icon while also pregnant as her stunning white gown with exaggerated sleeves turned heads while she joyfully posed for the cameras.

Sadly, Molly-Mae was without boyfriend Tommy Fury, who is currently in an intense training camp with famous brother, Tyson Fury.

However, Molly did have her best friend, Maura Higgins in tow.

Never one to shy away from a bold number, Maura proved that she can pull off any look as she stunned in the eye-catching halter-neck frock.

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas stood out from the crowd as she made her way to the annual event in a gorgeous gold sequin jumpsuit.

The age-defying BBC star oozed glamour in the one-shoulder number and Shirley embodied the classic Hollywood vintage style as she wore her brunette locks in vintage curls before topping off the look with a bold red lip.

Meanwhile, Pride of Britain host Ashley Banjo looked incredibly dapper in a classic navy suit.

The Diversity star looked uber handsome in the chic suit as he paired the navy two-piece with a sharp black shirt and matching tie.

Next to walk the red carpet were Peter Andre, and his lookalike children, Junior, 17, and Princess, 15.

While Mysterious Girl singer Pete and his lookalike son opted for navy suits, Princess stood out from the crowd in a stunning shimmering black gown.

Princess looked the image of her young mum, Katie Price, as she confidently posed for the cameras after making her first Pride of Britain debut at last year's ceremony.

Peter Andre, told Mirror Online: “Only the U.K. does this. Only Britain gets behind unsung heroes like this. They show people that they might think the things that they do is ordinary, but actually it’s extraordinary. Pride of Britain is so special.

“I want the kids to come to events like this I really do. I want them to see it and to know that the industry is not just about what you can get.”

Elsewhere, This Morning star Rochelle Humes was a vision in yellow as she beamed on the red carpet.

The brunette bombshell turned heads as she confidently waltzed down the red carpet while walking hand-in-hand with her husband, Marvin - who also looked suave in an all-black three-piece suit.

Rochelle allowed her dress to take centre stage as she opted for a subtle up-do with a glamorous makeup look in tow.

The reality TV star showcased her curves and gym-honed figure in a bold brown and black dress as she rocked a wet hair look and a smokey-eye.

Ferne oozed confidence as she modelled the daring number before meeting her pals at the end of the red carpet.

The blonde beauty had all eyes on her as she modelled the show-stopping number.

Elsewhere, Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid beamed in a classy emerald green satin gown, complete with silver detailing.

The unique dress did wonders to compliment Susanna's skin tone and brunette locks as she modelled the gorgeous number on the red carpet.

Susanna's fellow Good Morning Britain co-star Laura Tobin also opted for a daring look for the 2022 Pride of Britain Awards.

The 41-year-old meteorologist and TV star oozed class in a stunning lavender gown with a unique shoulder detailing.

Laura decided to allow her daring frock do all the talking as she wore her brunette locks away from her face in a tight bun and of course, she rocked a full face of make-up for the glamorous event.

The TV star was all smiles as she walked the red carpet alongside her co-stars and famous pals.

Former Love Island beauty Zara McDermott oozed Hollywood glamour in an eye-popping gold sequin gown which did wonders to accentuate her gym-honed physique.

Elsewhere, Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su rocked a classic black mini dress for her very first Pride of Britain red carpet.

The 28-year-old stood out from the crowd in the mini dress as she was one of the few celebrities to ditch wearing a floor-length gown for the special occasion.

Ekin-Su kept things classy and simple as she styled her long locks in a straight style as she allowed her make-up to take centre stage while posing for some gorgeous snaps.

In contrast to Love Island beauty Ekin-Su, Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton opted for a much more daring look as she rocked a cut-out bright green frock on the red carpet.

Helen, 39, looked beautiful in the unique number and she completed the look with an array of silver accessories which tied the entire ensemble together.

Helen's Strictly co-star Kym Marsh oozed glamour in an off-the-shoulder black mesh midi dress which stood out from the crowd on the red carpet.

The former Coronation Street star stunned in the classy number which did wonders to accentuate her figure as she continues to wow Strictly viewers every week.

And their fellow Strictly star Ellie Simmonds also looked chic in a gorgeous black gown with dazzling shimmering detailing.

Ellie, who walked the red carpet with dance partner Nikita, told The Mirror: “Pride of Britain is so special because it’s honouring the people of Britain. There’s so many worthy award winners and it’s always an emotional night. To be here and to celebrate them it’s just such a good night.”

Former TOWIE star Joey Essex showed off his quirky personality on the red carpet as he posed for pictures while throwing up some peace signs.

As ever, Jess made sure her hair and make-up were on point.

Former Strictly star Nicola Adams rocked a patterned grey suit as she posed next to her girlfriend Ella Baig who looked chic in a classic black gown.

Speaking to The Mirror on the red carpet, Nicola said: "I’m really excited - it’s going to be a good night. I think seeing the VTs really brings it to life for me and really brings a tear to my eye.

“It’s being able to give back. Everybody there is deserving of an award and it’s about getting recognition for the hard work that they put in and the hours.

Meanwhile, Pregnant star Jorgie porter put her blossoming bump on full display while on the red carpet.

The 34-year-old actress cradled her growing bump as she posed for snaps while sporting a silver sequin gown and killer silver heels.

Fellow expectant mum Lucy Fallon stunned in a white wrap dress which did wonders to draw attention to her blossoming bump.

Meanwhile, Helen Flanagan looked incredible in a short red dress as she showcased her impressive pins in the show-stopping look.

This year's winners include a teenager who saved the lives of a young boy and her father before coming close to being swept to her death in a river and brave police officers wounded in a frenzied knife attack.

A sailor who led a four-hour mission to save 27 men from a burning ship in towering seas and a schoolboy who tackles endurance challenges on his walking frame to raise money for charity are also among the winners.
