Prices SLASHED at East Midlands Designer Outlet late-night shopping event

Bargain hunters can pick up some cut-price clobber at East Midlands Designer Outlet's late-night shopping experience where prices will be slashed by up to 70 percent for one day only.

Happening on Thursday, May 30 at the complex in South Normanton, the event is the third of its kind to take place at the McArthurGlen retail village.

As well as heavy discounts on brands including Kurt Geiger, Joules, Converse and GAP, opening hours will be extended from 9am to 9pm.

There will also be entertainment around the centre and random acts of kindness throughout the day including free gift cards, sweets, and chocolate.

Centre manager Paul Tyler says: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our hugely successful late night shopping back to the centre this May. We can’t wait for our visitors to explore the amazing discounts across our brands – it’s the perfect time to inject their summer wardrobes with some new season additions.”

There is now a new regular bus service to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet.

The Stagecoach East Midlands Mansfield Miller number one route has been extended to provide a quick link to the South Normanton complex - running every 30 minutes.

Starting from Woodhouse and Mansfield via Sutton in Ashfield and Huthwaite it will take shoppers straight to the door of the outlet.

The new extended service will run on a single deck bus with contactless ticket machines.

It will operate Monday to Saturday from just after 7am to 8pm, with a Sunday service from just before 9am to just before 6pm.

The new Duo ticket will be applicable on this service, when travelling together adults are able to purchase one adult fare and get the other at half price, making significant savings.

Fares will start from as little as £3.45 for two people travelling from Huthwaite, £6.30 from Sutton in Ashfield, £7.80 from Mansfield and £10.05 for two from Mansfield Woodhouse. Mega Rider Plus is also available for those travelling daily from £16.70.
