Price glitch sees actual helicopter on sale for just £550 - that's 99.9% off

It could be the most expensive typo in history - after "Amazon for millionaires" site HushHush listed a £550,000 helicopter for just £550 .

That's more than 99.9% off, meaning the Eurocopter AS350 could be yours for less than the price of a second-hand scooter.

The worse news for luxury goods site HushHush.com is that bargain hunters noticed the "sale" and piled on. HushHush now ranks it as the #1 Best Seller in  Helicopters .

"I only ordered 10 to give others the chance lol," one wrote on savvy shopper site LatestDeals.co.uk .

"Tempting to buy at this price but then where would I park my Fiesta? I can only park one thing on my driveway," another added.

"Really looking forward to helicoptering to work rather than sitting in peasant traffic now!" another reader joked.

"Just ordered. Hope they honour it now. My housing crisis sorted. Cheaper than 1 month rent as long air-con works," another reader wrote.

The helicopter normally costs almost £600,000. After it was listed at the new, lower price the website crashed.

HushHush.com is designed to cater for the needs of the discerning billionaire.

It sells items including a £62million French chateau, a £55million jewel-encrusted watch, a £47million superyacht and an £18million Legacy jet.

Sadly, the law is not on the side of the bargain hunters - as retailers are not forced to sell goods at the advertised price.

That's something Tesco shoppers found out back in 2012 after the retailer listed an iPad for £49.99, rather than £499, only to see the store refuse to honour orders.
