What teams have the best, worst, and in-between college football quarterback situations and depth charts?
Going into the rest of the offseason, the summer, and moving into fall camps, how do all the college football quarterback situations look?
Some teams will have a battle for the starting job that will be a daily story up until the opener, but some depth charts have a superstar starter and no real backup options.
Some teams have a slew of great prospects, but no sure thing No. 1.
This is loosely based on a combination of established starter – at the end of the day, having a next-level main man means everything – with a big boost given to the teams that have a great No. 2 option, too. Experience, young talent, and a strong pecking order matter, too.
And some teams – cough, Ohio State, cough – might have a great starter, but things might go off the rails in a hurry if the top guy goes down, so they get ranked a bit lower.
Basically, if you have an issue with the ranking, look at the No. 2 guy.
