2019 Preseason CFN Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year
WR Laviska Shenault, Jr. Colorado
The Biletnikoff Award was all his before he got banged up midway through the season. The 6-2, 225-pound all-around receiving weapon caught 86 passes for 1,011 yards and six scores, with all of his touchdown grabs coming before getting banged up. With a scary-good NFL blend of big play ability and strength to go along with his size, he’s going to be the centerpiece of what should be a high-powered Buff attack … as long as he stays healthy.
2018 Preseason CFN Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year
DE Bradlee Anae, Sr. Utah
One of the nation’s top all-around defensive ends and pass rushers is back after his All-Pac-12 season. He led the conference with eight sacks and was third in 15.5 tackles for loss, and he was solid against the run with a steady and consistent 51 stops. Once again, it’s going to be a league full of dangerous playmakers in the backfield, and Utah’s D will once again be amazing, but Anae will stand out from the rest of the pack.
