PrettyLittleThing shopper's anger as jumper makes her 'look like the Michelin Man'

A PrettyLittleThing customer has hit out at a £15 'cream fleece fabric' jumper she ordered online which left her resembling 'the Michelin Man'.

Briana Gore, 24, excitedly tried on the outfit when it arrived at her home, but found she was swimming in fabric which hung off her despite ordering a size small.

She said she found the sleeves were far too large, and the whole look was 'cheap and unflattering' - comparing her appearance to the official mascot of the Michelin tyre company.

The description on the PrettyLittleThing website recommends pairing the 'Cream Fleece Roll Neck Sweater' with 'sweat pants and kicks for a casual look'.

It reads: "Get maxing out your off-duty wardrobe with this sweater doll. Featuring a cream fleece fabric with a roll neck and flared sleeves, team with sweat pants and fresh kicks for a look we're loving."

Less than impressed with her order, Briana, from Texas, posted side-by-side pictures of how it appears on the model and how it looked when she tried it on with the caption: "Pretty Little Thing count your f***in days."

It racked up more than 52,000 likes and many offered some very 'helpful' suggestions to achieve the look she was longing for by copying the pose used online.

One wrote: "Did you try leaning forward?"

Other suggested it was the way she was standing which was the problem (Jam Press)

A second replied: "You not posin right, you gotta open your lips like hers in the pic."

Another said: "I think you gotta tilt your head to the side a lil bit like she did."

Briana hopes to return the jumper in exchange for a full refund.

She said: "The item was very cheap and way too big for the size I ordered.

"I really couldn't do anything but laugh at how ridiculous it was.

"I've ordered from them years ago and the quality of clothing was nothing like what it is now!

"Did I complain? I definitely did, I will be sending that item along with 5 others back for a full refund."

PrettyLittleThing has been contacted for comment.
