PrettyLittleThing has brought back their £6 anti-chafing bands for summer

While there's surely no better feeling than sitting in the sun on a Saturday, there is one small downside to the hot weather: the dreaded chafing.

But instead of hiding indoors, covering yourself in miracle cooling gels or just trying to walk as slow as physically possible, PrettyLittleThing have decided to bring back their best-selling anti-chafing bands.

Costing just £6 a pop, it's hardly surprising that the life-saving bands sold out in days last summer when they were first released.

And it turns out that creating a genius new invention is simpler than we thought, with the innovative design essentially just covering your thighs to allow the legs to brush past each other without causing any painful friction that rubs away at the skin.

The new bands are available in both nude and black, to suit all outfit choices, as well as in a plethora of different sizes, from XS to XXL, and PrettyLittleThing's plus-size range.

And in a step up from last year, there's also a very pretty (and almost wedding-esque) lace version, that turns the essential bands into the fashion accessory of the season.

As they're made from a mixture of fibres, the bands are undetectable under clothing, so you can wear all the airy floaty dresses of your dreams, without having to worry.
