PrettyLittleThing customer discovers awkward typo on new necklace

Online shopping is fraught with its own risks, as many disappointed buyers can attest.

Not all items will meet their expectations and rarely look as good on you as they do on the models.

But one thing you don't expect to happen the spelling on their items being wrong - something which happened to one unsuspecting shopper.

Model Bella Worlock couldn't believe her eyes after her new necklace turned up with an awkward typo, the Manchester Evening News reported .

The delivered item did not live up to its billing (Twitter)

Posting on Twitter , the  PrettyLittleThing  customer shared an image of the diamante 'Babygirl' choker necklace she'd ordered from the popular Manchester brand.

Next to the website's image, she revealed the necklace she'd actually received, and it's safe to say the two didn't quite match.

Instead of saying 'Babygirl', Bella's necklace actually read 'Bbbygirl'. Oops.

Writing alongside the pictures, Bella said: "Ordered this from  @OfficialPLT  and this turned up instead .. putting 3 Bs on it."

Responding to the Tweet, PrettyLittleThing wrote: "I'm sorry your order arrived like this doll. Please can you drop us a DM with your order number and we'll sort this out for you."

PrettyLittleThing now appears to have removed the necklace from its website, so if you were hoping to bag your own 'Babygirl' necklace, you might have to shop around.

Bella has also confirmed that after complaining to PrettyLittleThing they issued her with an immediate full refund and also allowed her to keep the necklace.

PrettyLittleThing declined to comment.
