Pretty Little Thing shopper's shock after searching for 'fat b*****d' sizes on the site

A shopper was left shocked after she searched ‘fat b*****d’ on the Pretty Little Thing website and the result showed a range of plus-sized clothes.

The Scottish fashionista, known as Nic, had been browsing the popular online fashion brand and was frustrated at the lack of options in her size, the Daily Record reports.

She had typed in the rude phrase as a joke but was baffled when 103 search results appeared, with most of them showing plus-size dresses and tops.

Nic took to Twitter to complain to the online fashion brand following the revelation and wrote: "Never thought this would be a size option on @OfficialPLT ".

She also jokingly wrote: "#lockdowndiet " with a screenshot of the results.

Nic told the Daily Record: "Not everyone is a small, medium or large and there aren't too many extra large options. Anyone will get the same search results until they change it."

Pretty Little Thing's official Twitter page replied to Nic's post asking her to message them so they could look into the query.

Nic added: "I'm still waiting on a reply from them after I sent a DM. I was told it would be a few days as a few teams need to look it it."

A spokesperson from Pretty Little Thing said: "We are aware of the current search terms issue on the website which are affecting a number of online sites including ours and are working quickly to rectify this."
