Pretty in pink: Sakura udon noodles arrive in time for cherry blossom

Pink udon noodles hang to dry at noodle maker Misumi Seimen Kojo's factory in Asakura, Fukuoka Prefecture. The company's "sakura udon" have been sold exclusively during spring to mark cherry blossom season for about 20 years. The company began production this month, with extract from cherry leaves and natural coloring kneaded into the dough.
