Pret reopens ten shops for takeaway and delivery today - here's the full list

Pret has announced it is reopening ten shops close to hospitals in London to help frontline healthcare workers get more access to freshly prepared food.

The chain will also reintroduce its 50% NHS discount and has said it will make 7,000 extra meals a week to donate to its homeless and charity partners.

From today, ten stores will open for takeaway and delivery offering a reduced range of Pret favourites, as well as a selection of essentials like milk, bread and butter.

In a letter to Pret customers, CEO Pano Christou said: "Since we temporarily closed our doors, our charity vans have donated 477,000 Pret items to 138 of our charity partners and 40 hospitals. But we’ve also been hearing from local NHS workers and hospitals that they want to be able to access freshly made food nearby."

The stores will be run by 160 team members who have volunteered to help reopen the ten shops in London, which are located close to hospitals.
