Pret launch new menu items and returned 10 favourites to stores for spring

Are you bored of having the same lunch every day? Or sick of eating leftovers all the time? Well do we have some good news for you.

Pret A Manger is bringing back 10 seasonal favourites - just in time for spring reunions, sunshine and indoor dining. Not only that, but there will also be three new menu items too.

The Spring/ Summer range will be available from Pret and Veggie Pret stores and available for delivery from Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat on the 11th May.

Now to make your next lunch even better, Just Eat have teamed up with TopCashback and are offering new customers £5 back on a £10+ spend.

To find your nearest Pret A Manger, we’ve put the store locator here for ease. You’ll also find the latest opening and closing time information listed there as well.

Speaking about the launch, Briony Raven, UK Food & Coffee Director at Pret A Manager said: “As more of our shops reopen we’re excited to be welcoming our customers back by bringing back many of their favourites to our existing menu. This spring we are reintroducing our platters, flatbreads and salad bowl ranges which are perfect for al fresco dining. Our menu will also see the return of our organic Cold Brew, which can now be redeemed as one of the five drinks a day for our Coffee Subscribers and can be enjoyed with some of our returning ready to go snacks which we’ve not had in store for over a year.”

Flatbreads are back, but this time feature two new recipes including the Chicken Pesto & Rocket and a vegan Falafel, Avocado Chipotle.

The Chicken Pesto & Rocket flatbread contains British chicken, which is mixed with basil and pine nut pesto. It's finished with free-range mayo and lemon juice and is inspired by an Italian getaway.

Freshly sliced avocados served with sweet potato falafels and a dollop of spicy chipotle ketchup. The Falafel, Avocado Chipotle flatbread will be available at both Pret and Veggie Pret and is vegan friendly.

This season’s Chef’s Special is the Chipotle Chicken Baguette. On a layer of red tapenade and topped with chicken coated in chipotle ketchup, this seasonal bring back is finished with chargrilled peppers, feta and fresh rocket in a seeded baguette.

To wash down these spring classics, Pret is bringing back its organic Cold Brew which is brewed for 14 hours and will be available for redemption to Coffee Subscribers for the first time as a seasonal addition to the Barista prepared drinks range.

Pret’s Coffee Subscription allows customers the chance to redeem five organic coffees, teas, frappes, smoothies (and now Cold Brews) a day for just £20 a month. Best part is the first month is free.

For coffee subscription members looking to add on a sweet treat with one of their five drinks of the day, they now have more options with three returning ready to go snacks options which have not been available since the launch of Coffee Subscription including: Popcorn bar, Nut bar and Coconut bite.

If you want Pret coffee at home you can also pick up a selection of Pret blends from Amazon as well as in store. The selection includes a Pret A Manger Organic Classic Blend in light or medium roast and Pret’s Organic Espresso Beans.

The chain's picnic platters are also set to return this spring, and are the perfect pairing for those looking to meet with friends outdoors as lockdown restrictions are eased across the UK.

Customers looking to pick up a ready-made platters can choose from three options: Humous & Crudites Platter, Smoked Salmon & Avo Platter or Ploughman’s Platter.

Looking to enjoy some lighter options? Than look no further than the return of three Salad Bowls. Lightly roasted salmon served on a bed of salad leaves and crunchy carrot and mooli slaw with fresh mango and sliced avocado the Salmon & Mango Salad Bowl is finished with a pot of zingy green dressing and freshly sliced cucumbers and pickled onions.

If you prefer chicken, then enjoy the Tamari & Ginger Chicken Salad Bowl which enjoys British chicken dressed in a tamari & ginger dressing.

Vegetarians can enjoy the new Roasted Chickpeas, Mozzarella & Pesto Salad Bowl which is accompanied by sliced avocado, baby tomatoes and topped with roasted pine nuts.
