Pret A Manger launch new bake-at-home croissants you can buy from Tesco

Today Pret A Manger has revealed it's much-loved croissants will be available to buy in 700 Tesco stores nationwide, marking the launch of Pret’s first ever grocery food range.

Each packet includes six croissants, which come frozen and take under 30 minutes to cook, so you can stick one in the oven while you get ready and start off your day enjoying one at your desk at home - just like you used to do in the office pre-pandemic.

The tasty treats will be available at Tesco stores from 15th March, with Pret's three bestselling flavours - Classic All Butter, Chocolate Filled and Vegan - all on offer. To find your nearest Tesco, we’ve popped the link to the online store locator here for ease. You’ll also find opening and closing time information listed there as well.

The new range builds on Pret’s expansion into consumer-packaged goods, and follows on from its coffee-at-home range which launched last summer and is now available at Amazon, Ocado, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

With three popular flavours on offer, Pret fans will not be disappointed. The frozen vegan version is the first of its kind to be available at Tesco and is made using Shea butter, which gives it the same softness and flakiness as a classic all butter croissant - available in packets of six now for just £3.25.

For those with a sweet tooth, you’re in luck as you can now enjoy six gooey Pret chocolate filled croissants from the comfort of your own bed for £3. With a dark chocolate topping, the flaky pastry is filled with milk chocolate running through the middle.

Rounding off the new range is Pret’s bestselling All Butter Croissant. This customer favourite will be sure to satisfy all your cravings and gives you a buttery and flaky finish every time at home - it's perfect for pairing with your desired spread, and best of all you can get six for £3.

Speaking about the range, Clare Clough, UK Managing Director of Pret A Manger said: “With millions sold yearly, we know how much our customers love our croissants which is why I’m thrilled that we have been able to launch our new frozen range. Featuring three of our bestselling flavours, our teams have worked hard to ensure customers can get the same freshly baked taste they get in our shops, at home.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Tesco for Pret’s first ever supermarket food range, marking an important moment in our journey to bring Pret to more people.”

If you’re looking to avoid cooking time altogether Pret fans can still order their favourite croissants including the delicious vegan ‘Very Berry’ Croissant from UberEats, Just Eat and Deliveroo.
