Pret A Manger is selling its coffee range on Amazon

Pret A Manger has announced its selling a retail range on Amazon.

The coffee chain will release its first range of organic coffee products on Monday, May 18.

Customers will be able to purchase Pret’s organic espresso beans and Pret’s organic single-origin Peruvian ground coffee from amazon.co.uk in the first release from the coffee chain.

This comes after Pret announced the news that 100 of its shops across the globe would reopen including a number in the UK for delivery and takeaway. This follows a trial run of 10 shops in London back in April.

Each shop will run at reduced hours and be fitted with Perspex screens at the tills, while restrictions will be in place on the number of customers allowed in the stores.

Pret said: "We’ve now reopened over 100 shops across the UK for takeaway and delivery.

"They look and feel a little different thanks to our new social distancing measures.

"For example, we’ve fitted Perspex screens at our tills and we've added social distancing floor markers.

"We’re also restarting our daily food donations to even more of our charity partners, and our 50% NHS discount is available until 15th May."

So if your local Pret is not one of those reopening there's still a way to get your coffee fix through Amazon.

It's also been confirmed that a number of other ranges will be released in the coming months for customers to enjoy at home.
