A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after being struck by a motorbike at the weekend.
Two people were left with serious injuries after the incident on Prestwick’s Ayr Road on Saturday night.
It’s thought a pedestrian outside the town’s Bellrock pub was knocked down by a motorbike about 7.25pm.
Officers shut off the road for about an hour as they carried out their investigations.
A Police spokesman said this week: “We were called about 7.25pm on Saturday following reports of a road traffic crash involving a motorbike and a pedestrian on Ayr Road, Prestwick.
“Ambulance attended and two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road was closed for around one hour.”
