Preston vs Leeds United odds: Helder Costa back to score first at Deepdale at 13/2

In search of back-to-back wins, Leeds United travel to a Preston North End side hoping to maintain their place in the play-off places.

Marcelo Bielsa has already confirmed his team will be unchanged from their against Birmingham where they held their centenary celebrations at Elland Road.

Leeds will want to put the pressure on West Brom who only have a two-point lead at the top of the table.

The Pools spoke to Joe Mewis:

Recommended bets:

  • Leeds to keep a clean sheet - 17/10
  • Helder Costa to score first - 13/2

Who's going to win?

I'll go for a very narrow Leeds win. This should be a close game at the Deepdale but expect Leeds to take all three points at 11/10.

Who is going to score first?

Preston are attack-minded, which could give Helder Costa (13/2) the chance to utilise his pace and net his first goal for the club.

Who is on pens?

Mateusz Klich missed Leeds' last penalty, so I'd imagine Patrick Bamford (4/1) would stake a decent claim tonight if Leeds win a spot kick.

Who is on the naughty step?

Gjanni Alioski is walking the disciplinary tightrope after his fourth yellow of the season on Saturday, but this could be very fiercely competed in the middle, so Kalvin Phillips may be a better bet.

Will your team get a clean sheet?

Yes, expect another clean sheet from Bielsa's side at 17/10 .
