Preston paper helps to boost cancer campaign

The Lancashire Evening Post has lent its support to a campaign to raise £650,000 in order to provide new equipment for cancer treatment at the Royal Preston hospital. The new technology, known as image-guided radiation therapy, will allow doctors to locate and eradicate cancer cells with greater accuracy, this sparing surrounding healthy tissue.
