'Pressure' - West Brom fans send message to Nottingham Forest ahead of crucial promotion clash

West Bromwich Albion fans have begun to look ahead to their side’s clash against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

The Reds travel to face the Sky Bet Championship leaders at The Hawthorns in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side lost 1-0 to Charlton Athletic in their previous outing, while the Baggies recorded a 2-1 victory over Reading on Wednesday night.

The win for Albion extends their lead at the top of the table to six points, while Forest are two adrift of second-placed Leeds United.

After their side beat the Royals, Baggies supporters took to social media to express their delight, and look ahead to the crunch clash against Forest this weekend.

Here is a selection of what they had to say.

Chez: “All eyes on Saturday morning now, what a huge game COYB.”

Steve WBA: “Great result last night, two places we haven’t won at in years. Let’s hope we maintain this good form."

Nathan Baker: “WE’RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE. Second epic away trip of the week looking forward to being back at home against Forest on Saturday! Up the Baggies!”

R.Smith: “What a massive win that was! Some really big games coming up! Forest, Bristol City, Preston our next 3. Come on #wba we’re approaching the final hurdle!!!”

Andrew Beech: “Pressure very much on forest for Saturday they rested their team for it. I would rest Hrk and start Austin. I would also be tempted to have Philips in and rest Krovonovic #wba however I would have no complaints with the side that is on that winning run.”

Kieran Wentz: “Another fantastic result tonight especially as we went 1-0 down. Nice to open up that 6 point gap with Forest on Saturday. Time to keep hold of that now though.”

Mark Rollason: “Is it too soon to moan about Forest having an extra day off?”

Cj: “That'll do job done now on to another tough one in Forest on Saturday.”
