Nottingham Forest’s dismal start to the season continued as they fell to a fourth straight defeat, losing 1-0 at Huddersfield Town.
A much-changed Reds side forced saves from Ben Hamer through Sammy Ameobi and Loic Mbe Soh in the first half.
But Frazier Campbell was left unmarked to volley home a cross after the break, and the visitors struggled to mount a response in a lacklustre second period.
It has left head coach Sabri Lamouchi facing mounting pressure, on the back of last term’s collapse and a miserable run which has his team yet to score in the current campaign.
Here’s what the Frenchman had to say at the final whistle at the John Smith’s Stadium.
What are your thoughts on the result and performance?
“It was a very bad result. The performance was not so bad, but the result was very bad.
“It is only by scoring and by getting points that we can get confidence back.
“The opponents’ best player was the goalkeeper in the first half, with two unbelievable saves.
“I think we deserved to score in the first half. Unfortunately we didn’t.
“In the second half we made a mistake, one more time, and left the opponent alone inside our box, then it was not enough.
“But with the new players and their first performance, we have something positive.
“But we can’t talk about individual cases because we lost and the result was very bad.”

Could you have done more once you went a goal down?
“We deserved to score in the first half.
“But we know if you have a chance, you have to kill the opposition and score. If not, don’t give them anything.
“We didn’t score and we gave them something through a mistake.
“We have to work. We have to be positive.
“But of course it is not a good situation. It is a very, very bad start to the season.
“But with the new players, and their experience, even if they are not 100 percent, we hope to get out of this situation.”
Do you feel under pressure?
“Of course. I cannot say no.
“The owner gave me all the players I wanted, but unfortunately we have not had a lot of time to work.
“Unfortunately we created a lot of chances but we didn’t score. Unfortunately some of the key players are injured and some are not ready.
“We need to try to be positive and find a solution.”
Do you think you will be given time to get this team to gel?
“Good question, but I don’t have the answer.”
Do you think you should have been playing against 10 men for the tackle on Harry Arter?
“It would be very easy for me to find an excuse.
“In a bad situation, I don’t want to find an excuse.
“But obviously some situations against us don’t help.
“When you are in a bad situation, it is bad news after bad news - like Joe Worrall being out for a few weeks.
“These players and this squad needs confidence. They need something to turn and give them a positive sign.
“It is unbelievably hard to try to get that confidence. Sometimes football is not logical.
“I don’t think we deserved to lose, but we lost.
“We need to find a solution.”
Do you start to doubt yourself after a start to the season like this?
“Of course - but not just now, from the beginning.
“About the new players, about the players we need, about the system, about the way we work, about the psychological situation with what happened a few weeks ago, of course you question yourself.
“I believe. And the players need to understand that the manager believes.
“We don’t need big things, just small things and the confidence will be back.
“The performance was not so bad - probably better than QPR and probably better than Cardiff with the way we played and the way we created.
“But it was not enough and the result is a big disappointment for me.”
What is the situation with Joe Worrall?
“He will probably be out for six or seven weeks.
“He has broken something in his foot.
“It is a blow.
“But when you start bad, you have some bad news and bad news.
“With the new players and the new faces, we need some positive things - like the two centre-backs.
“We need to give the new players positivity.”
