The press watchdog body, Reporters Without Borders, has condemned amendments to Serbia's broadcasting law adopted by its parliament last week. They enable the closure of radio and TV stations without any right of appeal. RWB called the new law "unacceptable" and called on the Serbian government to rescind the amendments because they pose a threat to freedom of expression. (Via Reporters sans frontières - EUROPE)
