Presidential debate moderators announced

WASHINGTON _ The Commission on Presidential Debates on Friday announced the moderators for the four debates for the general election.

NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt will moderate the first debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., on Sept. 26.

The second debate, in a town hall format on Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis, will be moderated by ABC News chief global affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz, who moderated the vice presidential debate in 2012, and CNN's Anderson Cooper.

Fox News host Chris Wallace will moderate the third debate, on Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

The vice presidential debate between Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be moderated by CBS News correspondent Elaine Quijano.
