As the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks passes today, several of the 22 candidates vying for the presidential nomination wrote commemorative messages on Twitter.
Jeb Bush
Republican Jeb Bush, former Florida governor, son of President George HW Bush and brother of President George W Bush, urged people to pay tribute to the victims of the attack.

Donald Trump
Republican frontrunner and real estate mogul Donald Trump said everyone should take a moment to “remember all of the heroes from a very tragic day.”

Earlier, Trump deleted a tweet from 2013 about the 9/11 attacks that had gained attention for his reference to “the haters and losers”. Although it is unclear when he deleted his 2013 tweet, a retweet of his original sentiment remains on Trump’s Twitter feed.
