President Donald Trump called for the firing of "no talent" TV host Samantha Bee early Friday, and complained about a double standard in an apparent reference to the cancellation of "Roseanne."
Bee, the host of "Full Frontal," apologized for calling Ivanka Trump a "feckless c_" on her show, but Trump believes TBS should send the comic packing.
"Why aren't they firing no talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low ratings show?" Trump tweeted Friday. "A total double standard but that's O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!"
Trump has been a supporter of Roseanne Barr, who saw her ABC show canceled this week after she went on a racist Twitter tirade on Tuesday.
Bee made the comment about Ivanka Trump during her show on Wednesday night.
"Let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad's immigration practices, you feckless c_. He listens to you," Bee said.
The offensive word was bleeped out on her show, but not online. At least two advertisers, Auto trader and State Farm, say they are cutting ties with the show.
Barr lost her show after she ridiculed former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett and called billionaire George Soros "a Nazi."
