President Donald Trump made his first visit to Chicago since his 2016 election on Oct. 28, 2019. He arrived at O’Hare airport on Air Force One early Monday morning and left Monday afternoon.

While in Chicago, Trump delivered a speech to police chiefs attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police at McCormick Place. Chicago’s police chief, Supt. Eddie Johnson, boycotted the speech and later delivered his own remarks.

After the speech, Trump attended a fundraiser and roundtable discussion at his Trump Tower property before flying back to Washington, D.C. to host Halloween at the White House.

Meanwhile, protesters both for and against the president gathered across the river from Trump Tower to make their views known. Inside, the fundraiser for Trump raised $4 million, according to a Republican official.

Here is all the coverage from Trump’s visit to Chicago.
