Football is finally here. The New Orleans Saints are set to kick off their four-game preseason schedule, starting with a home opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Friday night. Here’s everything you need to know to keep up with the Saints in their first 2019 exhibition game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. C.T. inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints-Vikings game will be broadcast locally on WVUE-FOX 8 and carried on affiliate stations throughout the Gulf South. Familiar faces Joel Meyers and Jon Stinchcomb will handle play-by-play and color analysis, respectively, but they’ll be joined a welcome addition in former Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma. Meghan Payton will again report from the sidelines.
Saints fans can also tune in to WWL Radio (870 AM/105.3 FM), where Zach Strief (on play-by-play) and Deuce McAllister (color commentary) will call the game. Steve Geller joins them again as the sideline reporter, with Bobby Hebert and Kristian Garic providing pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage.
