Prepare your wallet: Miami will introduce alternate jerseys in 2019

The number one rule in sports is you have to look good to play good. It’s common knowledge and scientifically proven (well, maybe not that last bit). But ever since the Dolphins have introduced their current throwback uniforms, it’s hard to argue with the results. Just ask the defending Super Bowl champs.

Could a white version of Miami’s killer throwback be in the works? Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post offered this nugget yesterday amid all of the talk from league meetings:

Uniform snobs everywhere, rejoice! When you’re done, cross your fingers and hope like heck it turns out the Dolphins are providing a white version of their current throwback uniforms.

If the Dolphins choose to go such a route, how long is it before they forsake their current uniforms all together and (rightfully, I might add) revert back to the classic look full-time?

Miami’s classic kit offers a clean, sleek and simple look. It’s no coincidence that the team and the fans have gravitated towards the throwbacks with such passion.

Here’s hoping we get another look that’s cut from the same cloth when Miami reveals the details of the alternate jersey later this year.
