CONAN O'BRIEN ENDS TBS LATE-NIGHT SHOW AFTER ALMOST 11 YEARS
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Conan O'Brien has wrapped up his TBS late-night show ``Conan'' after nearly 11 years, but it marks the end of his third late-night show over 28 years.
The hour-long ``Conan'' finale last night was largely a trip down memory lane with clips of guests including Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Sarah Silverman, and highlights of specials taped outside the United States. Will Ferrell appeared by Zoom from Boston, with Jack Black on hand to salute O'Brien.
O'Brien veered between self-deprecating and smart-aleck humor before allowing himself a final note of sentiment. He told viewers they should try to do what they love and with people they love.

SODERBERGH, CHEADLE RETURN TO DETROIT IN `NO SUDDEN MOVE'
NEW YORK (AP) _ At a time when much of Hollywood is going through profound change, director Steven Soderbergh has seized an uncertain moment. During the pandemic, Soderbergh has shot two feature films, released a pair of movies, written a sequel to his first film, 1989's ``Sex, Lies and Videotape,'' re-edited some of his older movies and co-produced the Academy Awards. His latest is the crime drama ``No Sudden Move.'' The movie returns Soderbergh to Detroit, a prominent setting of his beloved 1998 caper ``Out of Sight.'' It also reteams him with a cast member of that film, Don Cheadle. ``No Sudden Move'' debuts July 1 on HBO Max.
