Premier Sports Cup draw: Ayr United to face Hamilton, Falkirk, Albion Rovers and Edinburgh City

Ayr United have avoided any potential clash with a Premiership seed in the group stage draw for the Premier Sports Cup.

United are placed in Group E with newly relegated Hamilton, who are the group's top seeds.

Also lining up in the group are League One side Falkirk, who today appointed Paul Sheerin as their new head coach.

And former Ayr boss Brian Reid will face his former side as Albion Rovers also make up part of the group.

Garry Naismith's Edinburgh City complete the line-up.

The competition kicks off on Saturday, July 10.
