Premiership survivors St Johnstone await Ayr United in the group stage of the Premier Sports Cup after the draw was made this lunchtime.
Lee Bullen's men will face the Perth Saints, who are top seeds in Group F of the competition.
Queen of the South, newly relegated from the Championship, will also form part of the group.
Former United player Peter Murphy and his Annan Athletic side also await Ayr, while Elgin City complete the group line-up.
The competition kicks off on the weekend of July 9.
