Premier League TV issue to affect Leeds United fans as Liverpool turn down Harry Wilson offers

Leeds United are preparing for their return to the Premier League and that has made for plenty of news in recent weeks.

There has been transfer stories aplenty as the Whites build an exciting team for the 2020/21 campaign.

Robin Koch and Rodrigo have been added to the mix of late but Leeds want more than just that.

And there has been more than simply transfer news dominating the headlines of late too.

In light of this, here is the latest news round-up on Leeds in your morning digest.

Leeds fans impacted by TV issue

Leeds United fans could be impacted by a fight between the UK Government and some Premier League clubs over the televising of all top-tier games.

Some clubs are resistant to all matches being shown live, meaning supporters may miss out on watching some fixtures live, according to The Times.

The UK Government, however, is putting pressure on the Premier League to make sure this doesn't happen.

Liverpool stance on Wilson

Leeds United have been linked with a move for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson but now the Reds have made a decision on his future.

The Echo say that Liverpool have finally given Wilson exactly what he wants and that is a chance to make his mark at Anfield.

Liverpool have turned down the chance to send the 23-year-old out on loan for the 2020/21 season.

But that doesn't mean he is staying put for sure. An asking price of £20 million has now been placed on the head of the former Hull City, Derby County and Bournemouth loan star.

De Paul preference

Whilst a move for Harry Wilson is not off of the table just yet, any hopes of signing Rodrigo De Paul may have just ended.

Udinese have placed a £31 million price tag on the midfielder amid links with Leeds.

But now reports suggest that the 26-year-old would rather make the switch to Juventus.
