Premier League TV fixture changes: Manchester United in first Friday game

The Premier League has revealed which matches have been moved for television in August and September – with Manchester United’s home game against Southampton the first of the new season’s Friday night fixtures.

Leicester City, meanwhile, begin their title defence away at Hull City in Sky’s new regular 12.30pm slot on the opening day.

BT’s opening game is Manchester City against Sunderland on the evening of Saturday 13 August, while the first Sunday of the season features Bournemouth versus Manchester United and Arsenal versus Liverpool on Sky.

The first Monday night match of the season sees Antonio Conte’s Chelsea taking on West Ham at Stamford Bridge.

The Premier League also confirmed several other fixture changes due to clubs participating in the Europa League.
