Premier League transfer rumours: Spurs to beat Liverpool to deal as two clubs eye Sanchez move

The Premier League season has finished but there is still the little matter of the FA Cup and Champions League finals.

But despite Manchester City, Watford, Liverpool and Spurs having a lot to play for, the majority of clubs including those sides are looking ahead to the summer transfer window.

This is the time of the year when transfer gossip heats up and the latest rumours round-up is a prime example of that.

De Gea's United future update

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Dea has been linked with a move away from the club and the latest update should worry fans.

The Red Devils are eager to keep De Gea but it is being reported that his insiders have confessed that the Spanish keeper will contemplate his future in the next few weeks.

De Gea only has one year left on his contract and if he doesn't commit to a new deal, United will likely look to sell.

Manchester Evening News are reporting that De Gea remains uncertain over his future and explain that Dean Henderson, who has been on loan at Sheffield United, could take up the number one goalkeeper role.

Sanchez's agent meets clubs

Sticking with Man Utd and Alexis Sanchez's agent has held transfer discussions with both Inter Milan and Juventus, according to Gianluca Di Marzio .

Sanchez is highly likely to leave Man Utd after only scoring one goal in the Premier League this past season.

But it's understood that both Inter and Juventus are currently unwilling to entertain Sanchez's demands.

The former Arsenal forward is reportedly on £500,000 a week at Old Trafford. The Serie A side remain interested in the Chile international but insist he must take a pay cut.

Spurs could beat Liverpool to transfer

Tottenham Hotspur have moved above Liverpool in the race for Julian Brandt, according to Mirror Sport .

The 23-year-old is set to leave Bayer Leverkusen during the summer transfer window and had been heavily linked with Liverpool.

But now it's said that Spurs are leading the way in the chase for the German winger.

Leverkusen can still land Champions League football for next season but does not appear to have any bearing on his decision, with the player having a £21m release clause.
