Premier League transfer rumours: Kepa to leave Chelsea, Lovren exit, Leeds target Dennis

Leeds United close their Championship campaign on Wednesday evening with a game against Charlton Athletic.

The Whites have already been crowned champions and can look forward to next season in the Premier League.

With that in mind, fans should probably start paying attention to the goings-on in the division, especially with the transfer window set to open soon.

Here are the latest Premier League transfer rumours.

Lampard wants Chelsea keeper Arrizabalaga gone

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reportedly wants goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga sold as soon as possible.

Football Insider reports that the Stamford Bridge boss has made him mind up to sell the stopper, a stance which has continued in light of the 5-3 defeat against champions Liverpool.

Arrizabalaga is the world’s most expensive goalkeeper after Chelsea paid Athletic Bilbao his £71.6m release clause in 2018.

Arrizabalaga has struggled for form this season and Lampard has switched between him and Willy Caballero in goal.

Liverpool’s Lovren closing in on Zenit move

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is in line for a move to Zenit St Petersburg.

The Daily Star reports that the Russian club are in talks with the Premier League champions over a £10.9m transfer.

The 31-year-old has one year left on his current Anfield deal.

Lovren joined Liverpool in 2014 for £20m from Southampton after he impressed in his debut campaign at the south coast club.

Reports have linked the Whites with a move for the 22-year-old, which also includes Wolves, Birmingham Live reports.

He scored nine goals in 33 games across all competitions for his current club, who were crowned Belgian champions after the season was brought to a halt in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Past reports have also linked Arsenal, Newcastle United and Sheffield United with Dennis’ services.
