Premier League transfer rumours: Jadon Sancho 'expects' Man Utd move, £15m Leeds United deal

The Premier League campaign is in the books but such has been the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on football, the 2020/21 season is just around the corner.

That means a limited time for teams to improve their squad during the summer window and this has led to speculation aplenty.

This is the time of the year when the rumour mill goes into overdrive and the latest gossip round-up is further evidence of that.

Here are the latest transfer rumours from around the Premier League.

Sancho expecting to join United

Jadon Sancho has reportedly joined a Manchester United WhatsApp chat ahead of his potential move to the club.

The Borussia Dortmund forward has been heavily linked with an exit from Germany.

The transfer window podcast has stated that Sancho expects a move to go through and is already in conversations with several potential future team-mates.

Chelsea want Rice

Chelsea are eager to sell enough players to fund a £65 million move for West Ham United star Declan Rice.

The 21-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Hammers this summer.

And The Star report that Chelsea are willing to stump up the cash once they sell several of their players to enable them to make an offer for the midfielder.

Willian to Arsenal update

Frank Lampard insists that he would not regret Willian leaving Chelsea over a contract dispute.

Willian wants a three-year deal but Chelsea are not willing to offer the 31-year-old (32 on Sunday) those terms, with Arsenal planning to swoop.

Lampard said: “In terms of being disappointed, certainly as a club we have done everything we can to explain to Willian.

"Mine and his relationship is very close and I would have no feeling of disappointment if he does move on. He is a fantastic man and a fantastic player.

“I think he will feel like that about Chelsea. I will leave him to say his own words. But I don’t want anyone to try to find a negative attitude."

Leeds eye Liverpool man

Leeds United have set their sights on Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.

Wilson has enjoyed fruitful loan spells with the likes of Hull City, Derby County and Bournemouth in recent seasons but might not have a long-term future at Liverpool.

The Whites want to take advantage of this by trying to sign the 23-year-old for around £15 million, according to The Sun.
