Premier League transfer rumours: De Gea bid, two Liverpool exits, Wolves chase West Ham target

While the Premier League season may have ended with a victory for Manchester City over Liverpool in the title, the wheels are already in motion for a summer transfer window that will see clubs strengthen their squads.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United are just one of the big six that are expected to spend big this summer, whilst Chelsea’s summer plans still hang in the balance with a transfer ban still hovering over their heads.

Jurgen Klopp will be bidding for quality over quantity, as they look for a couple of key additions that can take them over the line next time around.

European transfer rumours: De Ligt to Liverpool, Arsenal's Pepe boost and Bale to Man United

Manchester City are in the same boat. With Vincent Kompany announcing his departure from the club, it would prove a surprise if Pep Guardiola didn’t add another defender to City’s ranks.

Here are the latest rumours from England’s top flight.

Manchester United to lose David De Gea

Paris Saint-Germain are planning to make their move to sign David de Gea from Manchester United.

The goalkeeper has 12 months left on his contract at Old Trafford and the Express reports that PSG are willing to wait for next summer to land him as a free agent.

The Spanish shot-stopper, who is valued at £60million by the club, wants an improved contract worth a reported £400,000-a-week to stay at United.

The contract impasse could see him departing for free in 2020 as Man United miss out on the transfer fee.

Manchester United to make first summer signing

The Express are reporting that Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Stoke City’s 18-year-old Nathan Collins after he was recommended to the club by Darren Fletcher.

The former Red Devils midfielder is one of a number of names that are rumoured to be vying for the Director of Football role at Old Trafford and he has already pinpointed Collins as a potential star in the making.

The Irish centre-back made his first-team debut for the Potters last season under Nathan Jones.

According to the Mirror, the Englishman is seeking a move away from Liverpool, after finding his first-team opportunities limited.

A return to the South Coast would come as a welcome relief, with the Reds expected to ask for around £13million for the 31-year-old.

Simon Mignolet to leave Liverpool

Another man who could be out of the door this summer is Simon Mignolet.

The 31-year-old is hoping for a move this summer after dropping behind Alisson in the pecking order at Anfield.

Liverpool have put a £15million price tag on his head, according to the Mail Online.

Salomon Rondon to Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves are set to swipe Salomon Rondon from Newcastle to bolster their squad next season according to the Mirror.

Nuno Espirito Santo is in the market for another forward after confirming their place in the Europa League and the Venezuelan target man is on their radar.

Rondon has a release clause of £16.5million and, after Albion failed to secure promotion, he is expected to leave the club.

West Ham have also been linked with the target man.

Everton to sign Huddersfield Town goalkeeper

Everton are set to snap up out-of-contract ‘keeper Jonas Lossl, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Lossl has spent the last two seasons with Huddersfield Town but will leave the club for free when his contract expires this summer.

It had been expected he would move back to Germany, however, the Toffees look set to pick up the Danish stopper as they bid to reshuffle their goalkeeping options.
