The Premier League season is still at a stand-still with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic postponing all professional football in England indefinitely.
However, transfer gossip means that football continues to grab the headlines and the Premier League has plenty of rumours doing the rounds today.
Here is a selection of the best Premier League transfer rumours from Friday, April 10.
Barca to offer swap deal for City defender
Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester City right-back Joao Cancelo and are prepared to offer Nelson Semedo in exchange.
The Daily Telegraph report that Cancelo is the subject of interest from the Spanish giants after struggling to settle in at the Etihad Stadium since arriving from Juventus last summer.
Cancelo has played just 11 times in the Premier League for City this season with Kyle Walker the preferred option on the right-side of defence.
Semedo has played 21 games for Barcelona in La Liga this season with the league leaders wanting to replace the Portuguese defender.
Chelsea plot move for Chilwell
Chelsea are plotting a move for Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell, according to the Daily Mail .
The same report suggests that Blues full-back Emerson Palmieri is expected to leave for either Juventus or Napoli this summer.
Leicester are expected to demand around £50m for the England full-back, who has made 118 appearances for the Foxes.
Manchester City are also interested in Chilwell, and it could be a bidding war between the two Premier League rivals for the 23-year-old.
Sancho “very open” to United switch
Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho is “very open” to moving to Manchester United according to the Athletic.
Sancho’s most likely destination is Old Trafford this summer according to the report, despite his past affiliation with Manchester City.
The England attacker signed for City in 2015 from Watford academy and spent two years on the blue half of Manchester, playing in their youth team.
Liverpool and Chelsea have also expressed interest in the 20-year-old, who has set the Bundesliga alight this season, with 14 goals and 16 assists.

Spurs join Coutinho race
Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race with Chelsea to sign former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, according to the Daily Mirror .
Coutinho has spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona, but the Bundesliga side are unwilling to make the Brazilian’s loan permanent.
Chelsea have expressed an interest in Coutinho, but now London rivals Spurs have joined the race to sign the former Premier League star.
Coutinho left Liverpool in January 2018, securing a big-money move to Barcelona, but has found himself frozen out of the side.
Barca turn down Willian
Barcelona have pulled out of the race to sign long-term target and Chelsea winger Willian, according to the Daily Mail .
Willian sees his contract expire at Stamford Bridge at the end of June, and is set to leave the Blues having spent seven years in London.
The Brazilian wanted a three-year contract at Chelsea, but the Blues would only offer him a two-year deal, meaning he walked away from negotiations.
Barcelona have been long-term admirers of the 31-year-old - bidding £50m for him back in 2018.
The report says that Willian wanted a three-year deal and huge wages, with Barca preferring to build a team for the future this summer instead.
