The Premier League season is now just one week away from starting and teams are doing everything they can to improve their squad before the campaign begins.
Due to the coronavirus crisis, clubs are perhaps a little bit more limited in what they can spend.
However, these clubs are still seeking any potential bargains in this unusual summer transfer market, as seen in today’s rumours.
With that being said, here are the very latest transfer rumours coming out of the Premier League.
Griezmann linked with Liverpool
Liverpool are claimed to be one of the Premier League clubs on 'red alert' over Antoine Griezmann.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the Reds, along with Manchester United and Arsenal, could be among the clubs interested in acquiring the Frenchman.
Following Lionel Messi's decision to stay at the Nou Camp this is said to have put Griezmann's future up in the air - with Ronald Koeman reportedly having promised the 29-year-old Messi's role.
Aouar 'swap bid rejected'
Arsenal's attempt to sign Houssem Aouar from Lyon in a swap deal has been knocked back by the French side.
French outlet L'Equipe, via football.london, claims the Gunners submitted an offer to the Ligue 1 side last week which included midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Lyon feel that Guendouzi is not a necessary addition this summer and that's why they pulled out of the potential swap deal.
Chelsea make Batshuayi decision
Michy Batshuayi is all-but-guaranteed to leave Chelsea this summer for pastures new but not in the way that fans might have thought.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a permanent Chelsea exit but it’s looking more likely that he departs on loan.
Furthermore, the Blues are eager to hand the forward a new contract before loaning him out, with Crystal Palace, West Brom and Newcastle United keen, according to The Sun.
