Premier League training has been hampered by sticky footballs due to sprayed disinfectant, according to reports.
Clubs returned to non-contact training this week, dubbed 'Phase One' of a programme working towards the return to action in June.
All players must work within special guidelines, including in groups no bigger than five people, and heightened health and safety measures.
Disinfectant is being heavily used and, according to The Sun, players have complained that the hot May weather combined with the spray has made footballs sticky.
Training has, therefore, been hampered due to the ball's movement affected, frustrating players amid a raft of changes to their normal routines.
The Sun add that "motivation is already rapidly vanishing" among players as they adjust to limited training measures.
The government confirmed on Wednesday that approval for 'Phase Two', which would include contact training, will come "very shortly."
